This service is primarily for Non-League Clubs, Professional Club Youth Academies, Referees/Referee Assessors & Scouting Organisations who require matches to be filmed for tactical and training purposes and do not require highlights for You Tube or fully edited DVD’s to sell to supporters. If payment is made in cash on the day of the match or by cheque, BACS or debit/credit card in advance, we can provide an unedited DVD of the whole match straight on the final whistle if mains power and shelter from inclement weather is available, or we can hand over the camera master tapes for the club’s own editors to use. Some of our cameramen also record onto a portable hard-drive in AVI format, which can then be transferred via a firewire lead into a laptop provided by the club on the final whistle. All matches will be filmed in 16:9 SD (Standard Definition) format only. | |||

NOTES REGARDING FILMING OPTIONS |
|
During the past couple of years or so, we have been finding that it is more convenient for players and supporters to watch highlights of their matches on You Tube rather than paying for DVD’s of whole matches which they invariably have not got time to watch. Most people nowadays have internet-connected smartphones on which they can view the You Tube highlights during their lunch break or on the bus or train on their way home from work, while the highlights can also be shared on Facebook and other social networking sites. We have also come across clubs in recent seasons who have booked us to film Cup Finals and promised to pay in cash on collection of their edited & produced DVD’s, only to then let us down with payment because of an 8 week wait for their DVD’s to be edited & produced…even though in some cases they actually won the match ! They then ended up not seeing the footage at all and presumably just relied on a supporter’s mobile phone clips of the game. By choosing Options One or Two, this problem should be eradicated as clubs are more likely to get the money in from their players and/or supporters straight away if they know the highlights or an unedited DVD can be made available for them to watch within a week of the game being played. In addition to that, the more teams that choose Options One or Two the better it is for us, as we will be able to spend less time on editing & producing properly-packaged DVD’s of whole matches and therefore take more bookings to actually film matches & edit highlights for You Tube as soon as payment has been made. Another problem that we are hoping the choice of options will eradicate is the lack of orders for extra copies of fully edited & produced DVD’s because teams would rather just receive one copy instead of six and then run off further copies themselves in order to save money. Although technically illegal, we are not particularly bothered if that happens when teams choose Option Two and make their own copies of the unedited DVD they are supplied with. However, if Options Three or Four are chosen, then we would expect clubs to reward our editing & production work by purchasing extra copies of the fully-produced and properly-packaged DVD’s from us. |

UNEDITED DVD’S FOR MATCH OFFICIALS and/or for APPEALS & LEGAL PURPOSES |
|
Please note that for matches where we have been booked to film by one or both clubs, we can provide additional unedited copies of DVD’s for the match officials and/or for the Football Association should there be incidents occurring in the match that may involve an appeal or legal proceedings. These are priced at £10.00 per copy (including postage & packing) and will be posted First Class the next working day following the match subject to payment in cash on the day or by BACS by the next working day. |

FILMING MINI-SOCCER / SMALL-SIDED MATCHES |
|
Unfortunately, we cannot lower our prices for small-sided games because the same amount of time is still involved in editing & producing You Tube highlights and/or DVD’s and in travelling to and from matches. Also, our freelance cameramen refuse to film for less than £80.00 per match, so we would struggle to cover our costs if we did Mini-Soccer/Small-Sided games for anything less than the prices quoted under the Options above. |

OUR YOU TUBE HIGHLIGHTS SERVICE |

All highlights will be uploaded in mpeg2-quality to our You Tube channel at www.youtube.com/user/hughesvideo Please note that filming a whole match and then editing & uploading 15-20 minutes highlights in HDV (High Definition) format is currently too time-consuming, so we are therefore not currently offering a You Tube highlights service in that format. |

HOW TO BOOK US FOR FILMING A MATCH |
|
Please use our BOOKING FORM or e-mail laurence_hughes@yahoo.co.uk with the Option you would like, together with details of the time and date required, details of the match (i.e. team names, the competition and the venue), whether your opponents are sharing the costs with you, and your contact details (name, address incl. post-code, mobile phone number and e-mail address). Once a cameraman is confirmed for your game, you will then be e-mailed a Confirmation Of Booking letter which will give you details of everything you need to know regarding payment & delivery. For weekend matches in March, April & May (when we receive numerous bookings for Cup Finals to be filmed), the Confirmation Of Booking letter is normally sent out on the Monday preceding the match as cameramen are appointed at that time based on their location to that of the venues. |
